Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddique (RA) said darkness is of 5 kinds and their lamps are also of 5 kinds.

1. Grave is darkness and Kalma-E-tayyaba is its lamp. لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّااللہُ مُحَمَّدٌرَّسُوْلُ اللہِ
2. Love of world is darkness and Taqwa is its lamp.
3. Pul-e-siraat is darkness and faith is its lamp.
4. Sins are darkness and Tobah is its lamp.
5. Akhirat is darkness and Good deeds are its lamp.

Examples of momin and kafir  according to hadith: Hazrat Abu Huraira reported Nabi Muhammad PBUH said the example of a believer is that of a fresh tender plant. From whatever direction the wind comes, it bends it. But when the wind becomes quiet, it becomes straight again. Similarly, the believer is protected by calamities. But a kafir is like shamshaad tree standing erect in one condition until when Allah plucks that tree from root. (Sahih Bokhari)

Respect of hadith: Once famous muhaddis and fuqah, Hazrat Imam Maalik (RH) were narrating a hadees when the audience noticed his face turning pale due to some pain. He was looking restless too. Inspite of all this he continued his hadees. When he finished the hades, people asked him the reason. He lifted up his shirt out of which a Scorpio came out which had sting Hazrat Imam Maalik R.A. during his dars. Hazrat Imam Maalik said that while I was narrating the hadees, the Scorpio was continuously stinging me. I avoided discontinuing hadees in respect of hadees-e-nabvi, thinking of what else can happen to me but respect and honor of hadess-e-nabwi (S.A.W) should be maintained.
